Javea Old Town and Port

From the port you can take a ferry to Denia – during the trip you will see the wonderful coastline and its ancient castle.

Denia Marina is a must as there are a large number of bars & restaurants – For the more adventurous you can catch the ferry to Ibiza which only takes two hours.

Montgo Natural Park

As you will already notice by the beautiful back drop of the villa, the Montgo mountain & national park is one of the most magnificent sightseeing days out. The Nature reserve dominates the skyline in the northen part of the Alicante province. It is very popular with walkers & cyclists. The views over the mediterranean are amazing.

Cabo de la Nao lighthouse

Cap de la Nau (or Cabo de la Nao) literally means ‘Cape of the Ship’ in Spanish. It is a headland located in the southernmost point of Javea municipality. It is rocky, steep and mostly composed of limestone. The cape marks the southern limit of the Bay of Valencia and points towards the nearby island of Formentera in the Balearic Islands, offering fantastic panoramic views.

La Plana Windmills

The eleven Windmills of “La Plana” district, one windmill dates back to the 14th Century and the remaining ones from the 18th Century. Today, they are abandoned without blades. Their function was to mill the wheat, taking advantage of the wind energy to move the windmill blades.
